2 player Draft Drive (Pass & Cut, Attack Dribble)

This entry is part 1 of 8 in the series 2 player combinations

2 offensive players (Pass and Cut, Attack Dribble)

Put two players in any two adjacent spots.  The player with the ball passes to the other player. The new ball handler then drives behind the cutter.  The cutter must react to the drive.  If they are still in the post, they must execute a post slide.  If they happen to get to the perimeter when the ball handler drives, they would rotate in the direction of the drive. To best test the cutter’s reactions, the drive should come from the wing. However, it is useful to drill this action with players in all spots.
