Skill Development Workouts
Everyone has strengths and weaknesses in their game. Whether you’ve never played basketball or you’ve been playing for years, there’s always room for improvement. Â Hoops College has developed a curriculum that allows players to focus on whatever area they choose. Â We believe that focused practice leads to the greatest results. We have categorized everything into 4 different areas.
Athleticism | Defense | Shooting | Playmaking | Show All
Athleticism
These playbooks will help you improve how you move in every direction. No matter what your genetic makeup, you can become more athletic through focused practice. These playbooks help improve you physiologically as well as your technique in basketball-specific movements. The ability to move better will change your game just as much as getting up a few hundred shots. Â
Defense
Many people feel that the ability to defend is all related to athleticism. While improving your athleticism will certainly improve your defense, there are so many technical and mental skills that need to be mastered in order to be a great defender. Â
Shooting
It can be argued that shooting is the most important skill in the game. Â Whether that’s true or not, the ability to shoot is highly valuable for any team. Â Players who can’t shoot become much easier to defend. These workouts start from the beginning and cover every possible shooting scenario. Â
Playmaking
Our playmaking workouts cover all offensive parts of the game besides shooting. From the basics of ball-handling and passing to the complex combination of skills that involve decision-making in 5 on 5 situations, you will develop the ability make the best play in any situation. Â
