CHARLOTTE'S HOME FOR SERIOUS BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT
For more than 40 years, Hoops College has been developing basketball players in the Charlotte and Concord, North Carolina area. We are not a drop-in gym and we are not a generic fitness program. We are a basketball training program built around one simple idea: the work works. Players who put in detailed, intentional repetitions — day after day — get better. We have seen it happen for more than 1,000 athletes, and we have built every part of our program to make that progress possible for the next one who walks through our doors.
What makes us different is the level of detail in every session. Most programs run players through drills and call it development. We coach the specific skills that show up in real games — ball handling under pressure, shooting off the catch and off the dribble, finishing through contact, reading defenders, and making the right decision in the moment. Every rep has a purpose, every mistake gets corrected, and no player gets lost in the gym. That combination of accountability, repetition, and attention to the small things is exactly what separates the players who plateau from the ones who keep climbing.

Hoops College athletes have gone on to commit to more than 100 college programs across Division I, Division II, Division III, JUCO, and professional leagues overseas. But the same system that prepares a recruit for the next level also serves the four-year-old picking up a ball for the first time and the high schooler trying to crack the varsity rotation. We offer programs for every age and ambition, from our Foundations track for young players learning the right habits to our competitive Small Group training for athletes chasing the next level. We also run strength and conditioning built specifically for basketball, shooting machine sessions, a 3-on-3 league, and recruiting guidance for families navigating the college process.
